Makes a lot of sense, but it would take a Constitutional Amendment.

No there doesn’t-that is just discrimination-there should be a dumbass factor limit on the supreme court-question all justices yearly regarding their knowledge of the constitution and how they are supposed to come to decisions-if any one of them talks about feelings, intent-anything but interpreting the constitution as it was written, they get removed from the court and replaced-that will but a stop to this “living/evolving document” crap...

I agree. As much as I love my own parents it’s easy to see the significant mental decline in both of them in their 80’s. For some it may show up a bit later or a bit earlier but the age of 80 is a good age for any politician or Judge to enter into mandatory retirement. They should want to anyway.

Mental decline doesn’t mean the quality of life is over with. Call it a wake up call to shift down a gear or two to enjoy life and the simpler things it has to offer.
