Okay, she wasn’t guilty when she was younger.

I ... I'm having trouble imagining how the leftists could become any more hate-filled and unglued than they've been over Brett Kavanaugh. Wouldn't that, like, violate the laws of physics or something?

Can you just imagine how unglued the libtards will be if RGB croaks in the next few months?

"Hope with all your might that she lives past nov 6 ..."

Absolutely. Her leaving the Court prior to the election would energize Demoncrats. It won't help in some states, but others might tip away from voting Republican.

Best outcome for us is that Kavanaugh is confirmed and Ginsburg survives. That will depress liberals and perhaps they will stay home.

There needs to be an age limit of 80 on the supreme court

Makes a lot of sense, but it would take a Constitutional Amendment.

Yes, I was going to post the whole video, which I saw a couple of weeks ago. She is actually quite coherent and makes a good point regarding the nomination process “then and now.”

As much as I wish RBG would just go away-this isn’t new for her-she has always seemed like a robot/android that only comes to life when someone flips her switch-and then she uses her feeelings to rule for liberal bulls***. It is the norm here in BFE for people much older than RBG to be running/working every small business from ranches/farms to feed stores and construction companies-if it is the same in DC, then be very, very afraid that she will still be around in 2024...

Actually FDR tried to do an end-around by proposing that he be granted the power to appoint a Justice for every Justice over a certain age—you know, to lighten the older Justices’ workload. Even the Dems wouldn’t buy his court-packing scheme.

If we pick up Senate seats in November, I expect Judge Thomas to retire. He’s not going to take a chance on a Dem president replacing him. He’ll want to ensure a young Conservative gets his seat.

In truth; she has no business being on the SC in this condition but she’s too stubborn to step down for political reasons.

In my opinion, what I find striking is that people such as Ginsberg and McCain appear to be so devoid of any spiritual understanding or capacity that they cling to their political post as though to life itself. To them it is more important to hold a political position than to retire, enjoy life, and contemplate the omnipotence of your Creator. How sad that one's life becomes so utterly unbalanced and completely one dimensional. In my view, such people should be considered unstable and therefore avoided.

Sorry, I laughed!

If Ginsberg holds out until 2020, the Rats will fight tooth and nail to prevent Trump from filling the vacancy.

True. It will energize the base to get out the vote.

No there doesn’t-that is just discrimination-there should be a dumbass factor limit on the supreme court-question all justices yearly regarding their knowledge of the constitution and how they are supposed to come to decisions-if any one of them talks about feelings, intent-anything but interpreting the constitution as it was written, they get removed from the court and replaced-that will but a stop to this “living/evolving document” crap...

“It’s quite possible that some of the remarks on this thread make FR look like a lousy place full of low I.Q. degenerates.”

So I said, “Who is writing her court opinions? She can’t.”

From that video, she can’t. Do you disagree with me? If so, please tell me why I’m wrong.

Lawyers clerking for her are writing her opinions. I stand by that statement. Not because I’m a low IQ degenerate, but because common sense says so.
