When you vote, you are a citizen!
In my (supposedly) Battleground State, Hillary came to speak at a local majority-female college. They changed her venue - twice - to smaller locations. She finally wound up speaking at a college cafeteria. The MSM published their usual tight shots of teary-eyed, impossibly-good-looking college girls, gazing up at Hillary admiringly. Breitbart (and also FR) published the wide-angle pics showing the real story, that there were more media there than actual students.
Shortly afterwards, Pres. Trump spoke at the largest venue in the city. 7500+ people filled the place, and thousands more stood outside in a thunderstorm just to listen to his canned campaign speech.
And this is what the press was touting as a state "too close to call". Bunk. At that point, I said, "Trump has this in the bag as long as he doesn't screw up."
Locally at least, I don't see that things have changed all that much. Dems are a little more vocal, but so are Conservatives. I don't think that things have shifted too much, and I'd expect to see much the same result - locally - as in 2016.
We will see.
Of course there was a Free Concert
Transquatch was merely the MC.
I’ve seen that thesis on line years ago, I thought it was marvelous, easily equal to anything I could have written when I was in first grade. I may not have been the best writer in my first grade class though.
looked like it was full of hate to me.
Transquatch. Great term.
Any creative people out there can come up with a pic of such animal?
Just once... Just once, Id love to see these people booking Trump in a football stadium....Im tired of this, there are 20,000 people who cant get in. Stuff,,,,
“Either you are free or you are not. Men died fighting for those freedoms.”
Absolutely, free is a superlative something which many people do not understand, just as there is no perfect human there is no free country but once there was a USA which strove to be a free country. In recent years there has been a huge effort to eliminate anything resembling freedom in this country. Trump is trying to reverse some of that but he has a very steep hill to climb. My fear is that only a handful of Americans comprehend that freedom demands responsibility and many are quite happy to live in a state of tyranny as long as they don’t have too great a demand for effort placed on them.
They had no clue... absolutely no clue he was going to win. Watch the election night with sleepy eyes and his crew... laughing and cavorting with glee about how Trump could and should have done things differently, then around 10 pm they first realize that hes going to win Florida.
Great viewing for those nights of insomnia.....
those pushing for tyranny always see themselves in charge
Headline seen in the bizarro universe...
the first 10 minutes of the election night coverage in 2004 had anchors believing their own bs saying that like his father, GW Bush was doomed to be a one-term president because “it’s the economy, stupid”.
The assumption is always that Democrats will win.
“...looked like it was full of hate to me.”
No doubt that is a very accurate assessment but you must admit it was amazingly absurd and unintentionally comical also. I seem to recall that Cristopher Hitchens said that it was not written in, “any known language.”
Did Mich perform with AC/DC?
Not true. She ate her way to that fat ass & hips of hers.
“Obama came onstage at the Watsco Center to a dramatic introduction and screaming fans, which numbered over 4,500, according to the organizers. The crowd was more fitting of a concert by Kelly Rowland or Faith Hill, two of the other celebrities in attendance at the rally.”
>>according to the organizers<<
ok - still doesn’t beat Trump’s rock star numbers.
Faith Hill?
disappointing
Yep Her and hubby are HUGE liberals
"...At that point, I said..."
Big deal she had 4500 fans. That’s usually the amount of folks standing outside of Trump rallies, unable to get inside.
Careful it could have the power to turn people to become Gender Confused
