For the first time in history, a female duo will be calling a NFL game.

At least it is not Beth Mowins. I was trying to watch some of the Kentucky v. Miss State game and Mowins was the play-by-play announcer and I could not watch. Her voice is so horrible.

Remember Lil Abner. And the granny with the pipe.
Think of her and the voice seems fine.

Judging from the recent commercials, the NFL is definitely going after women and children viewers.

They make their decisions from a crater that they themselves have dug. Susan Waldman of Yankees broadcasting really sucks, and she has a terrible voice. She has never improved, unlike affirmative action announcer Bill White, who started out dreadful but actually improved greatly over the years.

If a tree falls in the forest and nobody hears it, does it still call the play by play?

Then maybe Elmo and Big Bird should be their announcers.

Another reason I prefer to watch soccer. I like my English announcers.

I guess those two teams aren't considered to be good enough yet, as to not have to get women to announce their games. Think Bama will have a woman doing their games anytime soon?

One female announcer I think fits that description is Jessica Mendoza of ESPN Sunday Night Baseball. I think she has worked very hard to improve as a broadcaster. Unfortunately ESPN has put her in the no-win situation of having to provide color commentary on a game she never played, competing with men who have.
To: Ann Archy
It depends if they are real women without an agenda.
