Do you understand the difference between accessing something through a browser, and using an app?

Sure, you can get the source to any web page and modify it, and then view it in your browser and say that's the real page.

I could do that with the front page for Free Republic.

What I couldn't do is write that to the REAL home page for Free Republic, and let everyone see it. And after creating fake Discord logs, likewise, there is no way to write them into Discord (anymore than I could create fake email messages from me to you and place them at dates in the past in my Free Republic mail history.

That is why Posobeic requested a video of him using the discord app on the iPhone.

So, someone saying it's a hoax is saying that Microchip also crated a fake Discord App that behaves just like the real one on iOS.

Seems like an aweful lot of work just to make 1/3 of the internet hate you, but I suppose it could be done.

Now, watch the video again. The Discord is clearly not being seen on a Chrome browser, it's the app. So it's not a modified browser page.
