Your favorite songs about working, jobs, bosses, etc.
(And I always thought it was about this guy...)
Here's one:
Dirty jobs are everywhere
Just take a look around
Down the street, or up the stairs
Or even underground
You don't need to beg or steal
And you don't need to rob
All you've got to do is get yourself a dirty job!
Awesome song, 5 O’Clock World:

From their album Snakes and Arrows (2007).
It has more of the sound of their early albums. In 2002 after their hiatus, they came back with Vapor Trails; which didn’t have any keyboards or synths. I think a lot of folks lost Rush when they started getting heavy with the keyboards. In the later years they were a remade version of their earlier years. Geddy in fact said something like “Yeah, if I could, I’d just play bass from now on.”
I like it all!
Nice!
It’s amazing how many bands/artists covered that song.

“Oney” - Johnny Cash
Most classic rock stations play a remastered version with the “faggot” verse cut out.
That’s OK, Johnny Cash never shot a man in Reno either. Songs are just stories set to music. For some reason some people think they are all supposed to be autobiographies.
