This isn't my vanity thread. This thread was posted by "WyCoKsRepublican", so you should direct your question to them. I haven't posted any of these vanity threads you've seen recently, (or any other threads for that matter). I just post replies to posts I find interesting on various threads.

After thinking about your post to me here for a bit, it occurred to me that you might be referring to something different than I was.

On FR, a vanity is a thread posted (like this one), which is clearly marked in the title with the word "vanity", and it applies to threads posted from the thoughts of the initial thread poster, not from some magazine article, or web site article, or video, or some other source beyond just the thoughts of that thread's initial poster. Is that what you were referring to when you posted "Why all the vanities lately?" to me, even though I was not the initial poster of this vanity thread, or any other vanity thread? Or did you have something else in mind when you used that "vanity" term? I'm really curious to know what you meant by that post.
