I know MN and Vermont have primaries. I think there are a couple more
states that have primaries too.

I hope so. We used to be in CT CD-5, but got gerrymandered to solid 'RAT CD #1... John Larson. Ugh!

Any word yet from the 5th, Campaign Pete?

Manny Santos the mayor of Meriden will be a good candidate. The Connecticut Republican Party might pick up a few Senate seats (tied 18-18) and state house seats, too. Right now, a candidate who wants to eliminate the income tax is winning with 31%.

Did I just hear correctly on the radio? Bernie won, as an Independent? Funny, he dumped the democrat party. Almost like they did him wrong or sumthin.

MONTPELIER, Vt. (AP) — Independent U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders won Vermont’s Democratic Senate primary on Tuesday but was expected to turn down the nomination, as he did in his previous campaigns, and support other Democratic candidates.

In Tuesday’s Democratic balloting, Sanders defeated little-known candidate Folasade Adeluola, who said she believes Vermont needs a full-time senator.
