I am lost in pop culture, I just learned one last week, throwing shade around I think means saying something to a group of people instead of talking to the one person they want to get the message to, if the message isn’t about you, you say stop throwing shade on around, I think anyway lol

Davey, “Shade” is a nice was of saying “dissing”, as in saying bad stuff about someone. So if you’re throwing shade, you’re insult others.
