*texokie and solemn FreeQs gather around Steven W. as he reports the story from Thomas Paine about the death of Jenny Moore, who was investigating the politicians responsible for child abuse and trafficking. Other reports on that story as well as recent drops by Q regarding the evils being done to children are also weighing heavy in the Qanteen.
There is a small room down the hall from the Oracle and LexiQon offices. It is out of the way, and has not been used for much. However, today we realize it has a purpose. It is now the Qanteen Quiet Room. Several of us have removed extraneous items and found other locations for them. We have moved in some chairs, and a small table, placed just in front of the small bay window, which looks out over the lake, in which some of the neighbors and their children are swimming and playing.
The table is covered in a lovely white lace table cloth over a rich rose pink linen one. Someone has printed out and framed a picture of Jenny Moore, which is placed on the table along with a long-burning candle. A picture of Seth Rich has also been printed out and framed and placed there. After several days, the pictures will be hung on the wall.
At the rear wall of the room, near the ceiling is a small banner with the Q proclamation, “Where We Go One, We Go All.” Underneath it at eye level, is a large lovely picture of our POTUS and FLOTUS. A U. S. flag is standing next to the bay window at the front of the room. Over the table is a small delicately made crystal chandelier, which sheds just the right amount of light because of its rheostat control.
Underneath the pictures of the President and First Lady, for the length of the wall, is a long set of cubby hole shelves. On top of the rich maple wood of its construction is a long silk Oriental runner, with shades of gold and beige which pick up the gold tones of the maple. Accent colors are royal blue, emerald green, violet, and the same pink as the table cloth. There is space for each FReeQ, who desires to do so, to store their Bibles and other personal devotional and worship materials.
The table will remain in the room. Candles and holders of various kinds and sizes are available to all FReeQs and Qanteen visitors who wish to spend a little Quiet time remembering Jenny and Seth, and ALL the Patriots, past and recent, known to us and unknown, as well as the Little Ones, (Oh, the Little Ones!) who are also so worth remembering.*
What a pretty word picture you paint!
Beautiful images you construct with your fingers. Thanks.
Thank you for this. I will bring some flowers for the other marble topped plant stand and we can put it in the corner. (We dont want to ruin the beautiful view.). When the windows are open and we can hear the birds cheerfully singing, it will begin to heal our hearts as we are reminded of our Loving Creator and His care for each of us.
Psalm 23
“. . .There is a small room down the hall from the Oracle and LexiQon offices. It is out of the way, and has not been used for much. However, today we realize it has a purpose. . .”
For some reason, this touched me.
Thank you TEXOKIE.
Please come here to the Quiet room in the Qanteen. TEXOKIE will give you a sammich and a nice cup of hot tea and wrap you in a warm blanket and put you in a beanbag. You can look out the French doors onto the terrace, smell the roses and jasmine and watch the moonlight on the lake...
