Yes, it was, A-4 SoCal, different that the tool in Seattle. And a turboprop IS a jet. Makes its thrust via the turbine driving a prop. Same old same old.

Not to most people's casual vernacular.

And I do know the powerplant differences, fairly well. Do some indirect work for SNECMA, Airbus, P&W airframe builders, etc.
