On August 5, 1962, movie actress Marilyn Monroe is found dead in her home in Los Angeles. She was discovered lying nude on her bed, face down, with a telephone in one hand. Empty bottles of pills, prescribed to treat her depression, were littered around the room. After a brief investigation, Los Angeles police concluded that her death was “caused by a self-administered overdose of sedative drugs and that the mode of death is probable suicide.”

I had read at the time that RFK’s phone number was the last phone number she had on her telephone records at the telephone company. She had spoken to him just before taking all of the pills.
The article went on to say that while RFK genuinely tried to help people like Marilyn, JFK would do them then forget them and couldn’t care less about them.
Marilyn Monroe had been married to Joe DiMaggio. Even after the divorce, Joe DiMaggio had a dozen roses sent to her gravesite every day for the rest of his life.
And next year it will be 53, and she will still be dead
Sure there’s proof. Her housekeeper Eunice Murray said RFK was at her house that day. RFK was in the area, all his records show that.
I believe Joe sent flowers to her grave every week but not every day.
