Thanks, Mother of Dragons! It was really great!
*texokie breathing fresh air - starts coughing and Mother of Dragons solicitously pounds her on the back*

Darlin and I also went to the book store while in the Big City. I speed read through a VERY important book entitled “The Circle.” Apparently it has also been made into a movie.

I had wondered if it might be one of the “Circle” references Q has made. I rushed home to look at those drops with “ Circle,” and they really didn’t fit.... but they SHOULD! LOL!

It is the novel of a girl joining a high tech company and getting “nudged,” as Samantha Power’s husband Cass Sunstein would say, then bullied into the culture of being tracked 100% of the time.

It is quite insidious, and while she seems to acclimate to it pretty well, some of her friends don’t. At the end is an internet privacy rights statement, amongst which is the “right to disappear.”

I had recalled that phrase being discussed here in conversations about internet rights, but had not realized there was a popular book citing it.

The book:

The movie:

OMG!!! It stars TOM HANKS!
