I never understood WHY the public allowed Byrd to hold office. Some have said he repented etc. Fine if he did, but I believe he gave up the right to hold public office when he supported and served the KKK. Had he lived a life of true public service out of the spot light, helping to right the wrongs he committed, I'd be fine with that. But he just seemed to "shrug off" his reputation and people like Hillary were there to "kiss the ring" and fawn over him. What did he have on her? They were both in AK at one time - favor owed? Wonder what his "status" was in the Deep State, because nothing he did warranted the fawning praise he received. Sickening.
