FWIW...BTW...that particular emptywheel thread & comments seemed to be half way decent until the end then the comments were closed.

In looking at other emptywheel postings on other subjects, the comments were half way decent and discussions seemed thoughtful, but that site sure has a lefty bend and it should, considering that it’s founder and chief writer is Marcy Wheeler.

I don’t know about that blog outside the coverage of the Schulte things for which it had a lot of good background material; I was amazed how much is out there that seems to have been under the radar.
