Democrat Congressman Steve Cohen who told disgraced FBI agent Peter Strzok that he should be awarded a Purple Heart.
“If I could give you a Purple Heart, I would. You deserve one. This has been an attack on you, in a way to attack Mr. Mueller, in the investigation that is to get at Russia collusion involved in our election,” Rep. Cohen said.
Cohen’s belief that Strzok deserves a Purple Heart, one of the highest military decorations that is awarded in the name of the US president to members of the military who are wounded or killed in any action against an enemy of the United States, quickly sparked outrage online by people who knew better than to make such a disrespectful and insulting comparison.

I live in Cohen’s 87% black district. He is a high energy blithering idiot. I really have no idea why the locals keep electing him over one of the Memphis Mafia types that run the entire city and county. Cohen is an outlier to the typical memphis political type.

As a vet; anyone should be insulted by this comment. It devalues what it means to earn a Purple Heart medal; not that anyone wants to “earn” one.
Commie Cohen is our representative in our district which is gerrymandered to include some non blacks. BUT the majority are die hard dems in his district and I don’t ever see getting a republican in. My family always votes against Commie Cohen and his ilk! We can only hope we will get moved BACK to where we were before in now gone Fincher’s district which is upper West Tennessee down to North Shelby County.
