Trump talked about closing the border entirely back in may. Why not do that (if he has the authority to do)

That will solve the problem of separating children from parents. No one comes in period. No more legals, no more illegals, no more refugees, no more catch and release, no more separating. Shut down the southern border to all immigration.

That was done by referendum in Proposition 187 in California in 1994. It passed with 60% of the vote.
A federal judge ruled it to be unconstitutional, at the district level.
The state appealed it to the Ninth Circuit.
Grey Davis was elected governor and withdrew the appeal.
It never went into effect.
Congress decides jurisdiction for every court except for the Supreme Court. Congress could explicitly revoke ALL jurisdiction from every inferior court regarding immigration and travel and...anything. It would be the most effective way of stripping the activists of most of their power.
Shutting the doors and removing all the illegals is definitely something worth doing.
I think that is great, no passport, no entry. The ones that have already forced their way in, send them to liberal sanctuary cities, let the liberal cities pay them welfare, suffer the crime they bring. This may be a way to people in those cities to start voting for common sense politicians.

I used to travel to Mexico often. They are ruthless about people who do not belong there. They deport very swiftly and easily.

If these judges are allowed to keep usurping the Executive Branch, our Constitution will be deemed irrelevant. This is not a states rights issue by any stretch nor do these illegal alien colonists have any Constitutional rights. This is all maddening.
Time to put the Regular Army on the border for real! No one can cross except at Official Border Crossing locations. Shoot anyone who attempts to cross the border anywhere else. This nonsense will stop. We are facing a real invasion of our nation. The judge that issues an illegal order to remove the troops can send his own army to remove them.

Whoever comes - send them back. Free bus ticket, plane ticket - - what ever... But NEVER allow them in our country. These people are not willing to follow our laws, show us respect for our country and Constitution. We don't owe them anything.
I'm sick of how illegals have played us for fools - and how they've upended our political system by coming planning on voting for one party over another... that their ONLY issue is themselves... Illegals bring their culture and violence with them and make Zero effort to assimilate into our culture.

These people have no respect for our laws. If 'elites' want to put them up in their own neighborhoods - and into their own private schools - fine...
But for 'elites' to dump their servants in our schools and hospitals and take our jobs and squat in our communities THEN expect US to 'deal with it' so the (elites) have CHEAP LABOR and votes to prop up their selfish power is insulting.

I wish trump would just come back to this idea. No refugee status no nothing. Someone comes to the southern border they get sent back. We have more than enough democrat voters already we don’t need more.
