Laura Bush shows Democrats are desperate

Many readers likely are wondering why Laura Bush put her name on an op-ed condemning President Trump for enforcing a border protection law that her husband signed into law.

The short answer is she is all the Democrats have left

Their leadership is too tainted by scandal or incompetence (and in the case of Hillary, both) to persuade anyone.

Bill is a joke with his pants around his ankles. Obama's legacy quickly shrank like a cheap T-shirt in its first wash. Not one of their 2020 candidates had sense enough to give President Trump a sportsmanlike chance, which renders their sermons on morality to be the political opportunism in the eyes of even among the low-information voters who are the bedrock of their electoral battle plan.

Thus the outreach to a former Republican. Old President Bush is too old. The younger President Bush is too ashamed of his presidency to speak out.

So it fell upon Laura Bush to put her name on this column.

She is a former Republican because if you did not support our candidate in the last presidential election, then you have left the team. Parties are national. Either you support the nominee or you lose your membership.

The Democrats are pushing to erase the borders. They cannot make a valid argument, and so they must make an emotional one. They chose children being torn from their mothers as the emotional tug.

The roll out 10 days ago was messy because they chose for their propaganda a heart-wrenching photo from 2014 -- when Democrats were in charge.

But nevertheless, they plunge forward. They want open borders now, now, now.

"I live in a border state. I appreciate the need to enforce and protect our international boundaries, but this zero-tolerance policy is cruel. It is immoral. And it breaks my heart," she wrote.

That's the law her husband agreed to.

And the piece included the kind of chest-thumping morality that Obama favors.

"Americans pride ourselves on being a moral nation. If we are truly that country, then it is our obligation to reunite these detained children with their parents — and to stop separating parents and children in the first place," she wrote.

How many children of military parents did her husband separate with his wars in Afghanistan and Iraq?

The Establishment likes cheap labor and so they exploit illegal immigrants to achieve this.

Which they wrap in morality, like Keith Olbermann wrapping himself in an American flag for his book cover. The difference is they are less sincere.

there should be something we could spray that would rid us of unwanted bushes.

I never heard Laura bemoan the children killed in the Bush family wars on Iraq. Just another example of contrived selective outrage.

Someone tell her that her painter husband signed the law. Where has she been since he enacted the law.
Go back to checking out books.

*************

Yeah, she should invite Jimmuh Cartuh to build some immigrant housing on the Bush Ranch. But she’s a cheap critic who won’t put her money where her mouth is.

Laura, why don’t you wake up and understand what is happening instead of making stupid comments. Show that you have some intelligence.

When Bush was in office there came out a plea from the WH to please write in your wishes for his new term to try and work on. This came from a WH website, official and gave you the link to write in what you wanted the President to do.

So I wrote in (after filling out the entire form, that I felt the immigration into the country needed to be stopped. Too many people coming in. I am in Phoenix and we are flooded here with South Americans, illegals, many many many.

I then noticed in the ensuing rest of his term he never addressed it.

That told me a lot about the Bush agenda.

“Who’s listening to the former librarian?”

The Bush men, that is who is listening to the librarian. When Laura says “jump” George and Jeb ask “How high?” Laura Bush reminds me of the “steel magnolia” Rosalynn Carter. Screw them.

She was never a Republican. Neither was her husband. One good thing that has come out of this propaganda blitz is that it has shown that the Bushes and their allies like McCain and Romney will always support the Uniparty when the chips are down. The 'rats are definitely getting desperate because they are forcing their formerly secret operatives to out themselves.

(1) Failed presidential candidate @JebBush is demanding that we end the "heartless" policy of separating illegal immigrant children from their parents.

Let's talk about the Bush family and illegal immigration.

(2) I voted for George W. Bush because I trusted him.

He betrayed that trust by putting illegal immigrants ahead of American citizens.
(3) When I used to come to California as a child, this was a great little city.

It's now a portal to hell.

I have to endure THIS every other night.
(4) The Bush family is indifferent to the destruction they wrought on the United States.

My city is now completely lawless.

Everybody does whatever they want.
(5) There's no morality whatsoever in allowing mass illegal immigration.

"HEARTLESS"?

The Bush family is about as heartless as you can get.
(6) The wages of Americans dropped through the floor, and the Bush family's corporate donors got a slave class.

For some reason people think that illegals pop up out of the ground south of the border and cross in perfect safety.
(7) We can blame this on the Bush family.
(8) Illegals crammed into furniture.

Everybody USES illegals is every possible way.

They are slaves in the fields, factories, mansions, and bedrooms.
(9) Here's another heartless aspect of unfettered illegal immigration:

They crowd out AMERICANS from the health-care services.

But they do more than that.
(10) Culturally, Mexicans and other Central and South Americans don't practice preventive health care.

Hospitals are where you go to die.

So being illegal AND fatalistic, they are much sicker than Americans.

They require much MORE care.
(11) At the first gym where I went swimming, there was middle-aged man with the largest paunch I've ever seen. He wandered around singing.

He was so intrusive that we had to change gyms.

Like a malign spirit, he showed up at our next gym.
(12) My brother was using the sauna, and the singing paunch went in.

After a few minutes, my brother came out and sat on the edge of the pool, very subdued.
(13) "The singing guy has a bypass scar on his chest," my bother said. "He's about 27. He was talking to ANOTHER guy with a bypass scar. 'The doctors don't know what they're talking about' he said."
(14) This is very typical.

A traditional enchilada is cooked with manteca, or pork lard.

ONE enchilada has 3000 calories. That's more than you should eat all day.
(15) Mexico is a completely different culture.

My mother was Mexican. I've been there. I know all about it.

(16) What was HEARTLESS was enticing Mexicans to come up to pick our lettuce, as both Karl Rove and George W. Bush said.

They view Mexicans as subhumans.

But to make up for that, they blubber about our immigration enforcement.
(17) Don't kid yourself:

The American Chamber of commerce wants SLAVES.

THEY are heartless.
(18) One of the reasons I'm leaving California is that every house is now stuffed with families.

They can't speak English, and they'll never find good jobs.

But they have seven cars at each house, so it's always bumper-to-bumper traffic now.
(19) Heartless?

Here's a story for the Bush family.

In 2002, a Mexican soup salesman came to our street. He left the engine running in his car as went from door to door, trying to sell soup.

He also left his three-year-old son in the car.
(20) The kid wasn't in a baby seat, and he didn't have his seat belt on.

So he got behind the wheel and put the car in gear.

It took off and came all the way down the hill, into my parent's driveway.

KABOOM!
(21) The soup salesman's car totaled my elderly parents' car.

Since the soup salesman had an old Lincoln, his car wasn't even scratched.

GUESS WHAT HE SAID?
(22) "Please don't call the police."

My father asked, "Are you going to pay for our car?"

"I have no money."

This was all in Spanish.
(23) "Then we have to call the police."

"Oh no! Boo-hoo! Please!"

See, he wanted us to let him walk away from totaling my parents' car.

BUT GUESS WHAT?
(24) That's what the cops did anyway.

They said they were prohibited from calling the feds, so the soup salesman got in his car and drove away.

My parents--who had WORKED and PAID TAXES all their long lives--had to simply cram it.

Because of the Bush family.
(25) So don't tell me about "heartlessness," Jeb and George and George and Laura.

YOU are the heartless ones.

Heartless toward both illegal immigrants AND Americans.
(26) If @JebBush pays for my parents' car and pays for my brother's medical bills after he was forced to wait EIGHT HOURS in the emergency room and developed a full-body infection, THEN we can talk.
(27) The doctors told me that my brother was going to die.

His infection spread because we had to wait eight hours while people who spoke only Spanish were treated for headaches and constipation.
(28) You know who ISN'T heartless?

@realDonaldTrump.

He's cleaning up the mess that he Bush family left.
(29) President Trump, if my parents were still alive, they'd want to shake your hand and buy you a Daniel Webster cigar.

Quick: Name that movie, Mr. President!

(30) Heartlessness is creating a slave class.

That's what the Bush family did.

President Trump is dismantling the plantation.

If you don't like it, move to Mexico.
(31) But you'd better not move to Mexico illegally.

They will kill you for doing that.

And THAT is God's honest truth...

Dear Laura,

Congratulations on awakening from your long term coma.

Please take some time and gather your senses before the bitter Bush clan uses you to criticize President Trump.

After all, he is simply enforcing the law passed by George W. Bush. If you are not sure who that is please ask around.

Surely if you were conscious in 2014 you would have know that President Obama separated even MORE children from their parents, kept them in cyclone fence dog pens AND wrapped them in tin foil blankets.

It seems your coma came with equal parts amnesia. You mention Japanese internment camps but fail to mention they were created by a DEMOCRAT named FDR and forced AMERICAN Citizens into Nazi style camps. The invaders YOU are so concerned about are NOT citizens and are here ILLEGALY.

all thing considered, please just shut your mouth and take the bitter Bush clan with you.

LFM

I have more respect for Nancy drooling Pelousy than the Bushes. She is deeply stupid.

I have slowly morphed to the position that the Bushes are evil.

There is evil and stupid - and just plain evil.
