True, they all think they will be the one dictating policy while living in the nice daca out in the countryside, not the corpse dumped in a mass grave.

Union NOT at Fremont assembly plant. State of Calif trying to pass a law that says Musk MUST accept union at Fremont. I predict entire assembly operation will be moved to N Nevada. Musk bough 30 acres adjacent to current battery site.

Wow, looked into it. Amazed that so few were killed.

The protesters were about to call the march off and walk back home peacefully when suddenly the notorious Harry Bennett, head of Ford Security and the infamous Service Men, went out of a car with two other accomplices and started to open fire on the protesters with machine guns. The auto magnate’s right-hand man, Harry Bennett, was immediately recognized and injured by stone-throwing workers. Bennett emptied his own gun and then a police officer’s revolver into the workers. He and his goons killed 16-year-old Joe Bussell and left many more injured.

Yep. It is a sucker’s game. There are some on the left who get that, but not surprisingly, they are the ones who are already near the top.

They depend on the stupidity and passiveness of the masses.

when did programmers unionize?
Mental image of programmers doing 1/3 the amount of code in double the time for 50% higher pay.
________________
Add to that mental image incompetent programmers who can’t be fired but demand a promotion and more pay

Asking, not stating.

Also, recent articles of unions instigating new requirements to certify Tesla for receiving state funds.

“I predict entire assembly operation will be moved to N Nevada. Musk bough 30 acres adjacent to current battery site”

No way he can shut down Fremont unless he is up and running somewhere else before hand. This third Fremont Assembly Line working out of a high tech Tent might be the proof of concept for a “relatively” quick start up elsewhere. But skilled labor will be an issue and keeping these tents climate controlled is another. If any new slabs start being poured in Nevada Fremont should start worrying.

“Communications and Computer Workers Industrial Union 560”

Plus my brother, who ended up corporate comptroller/MIS.
Always said that he received a forty hour check, for one hundred hours or more of work.
Some goofy government rule that at the time the company could NOT pay OT for his position. I called BS and he sent me chapter and verse, this was years back and IIRC Bush changed it?

Elon is still looking for excuses

A definite possibility.
And I kind of, sort of, think well Musk.

Musk is the PT Barnum of hi tech. Every pronouncement he makes is aimed straight for all those “suckers born every minute”.

He is a huckster, pure and simple, and it’s only a matter of time before his edifice crashes and burns, no doubt after he has found a way to completely distance himself from the whole ugly collapse.
