I just know the armor belonged to Antoine Favreau, who was a "Carabinier a Cheval" - part of Napoleon's heavy cavalry - and that June 18, 1815 was his last day on earth.

Whenever you see the word enfilade appear in the account of a battle, the battle is usually over.

I was looking at the map with an eye to naval bombardment. Couldn’t understand how the militias weren’t hammered by naval gunfire .
