After Star Wars author Chuck Wendig called Star Wars fans white supremacists and The Last Jedi director Rian Johnson referred to them as manbabies, Star Wars author Paul Kemp believes certain Star Wars fans are “detestable.”

Kemp has written a number of Star Wars novels including Lords of the Sith, Star Wars: The Old Republic – Deceived, Crosscurrent, Riptide, and more.

Over the weekend, Kemp decided to attack certain Star Wars fans calling them “detestable human being[s]” if they use the terms “forced diversity, SJW, or politically correct, or whatnot.”

Paul S. Kemp ✔ @Paulskemp 11 Jun Since I follow mostly political/policy/journalism folks, I'm late to the various fandom controversies. Caught wind of the latest in Star Wars fandom.
Let me share some brief comments.

Paul S. Kemp ✔ @Paulskemp There are probably some followers of this feed who use the term "forced diversity," "SJW," or "politically correct," or whatnot.

If you're one of them, unfollow me. I don't merely disagree with you; I find you contemptible, a detestable human being with whom

Note the "safety pin" he's wearing in the picture.

The Left has "culturally appropriated" Star Wars and wants to smear the fans of the franchise for not supporting their agenda.

“Note the “safety pin” he’s wearing in the picture.”

Okay, for us Deplorables, what does the safety pin mean?

“Ve haff vays of making you like what I write...” sez the Star Wars writer.
Even if it is pure impotent repulsive and idiotic politically correct cr*p. (I submit this as one of the better redundencies.)

Oh, gee, look... Another politically-correct fascist middle-aged hipster SJW cuck, who uses forced diversity in his screeds.

Fascist baby wants a “safe space” to hide from all that which he disagrees with (namely sanity).

It is a symbol of protesting the results of the 2016 election...wearing it is to identify you as a member of “the resistance”

I don’t remember this guy as a member of the Dixie Chicks. Was he a late addition, or just a follower of the philosophy on how to charm your customer base?

What a moron.

“If you don’t think like me, get away! You’re detestable” He’s the very example of the thing he claims to hate.

He’s made his living off the backs of someone else’s work.

You’re absolutely right.

Star Wars went from to Cash Cow to Sacred Cow in 40 years.

You don’t have to have watched or liked a single movie to see how the Left is operating in the same way the operate everywhere...trying to trash and destroy something else people liked. Go back to the beginning and study how the Left has behaved to fan reaction to the SJW politics being inserted into the film - I just saw where they are now targeted podcasts who criticize the current direction of LucasFilm In Name Only to get their sponsors taken away - sound familiar?

And this is why, for the first time, the most successful franchise in media history lost money on a movie about what is probably the most beloved character in the franchise.

Star Wars is dead. Episode 9 will also lose money and then TSHTF for Disney.

He’s trying to virtue-signal that [whatever you are/identify as—except what he thinks is “deplorable/detestable”—] is “safe” around him. He has to tell you that. So you’ll know.

It’s the ribbon d’jour.

Okay, for us Deplorables, what does the safety pin mean?

I had the same question. I just knew there was something sinister about the whole Star Wars gestalt.

They took a successful story of freedom loving, independent, adventurous, heroic, strong men; and gave it to fragile, effeminate, homosexuals, who are totally submissive to groupthink and peer pressure, to write the continuation of the story.

And they think their failure is due to the fans.

Yes, they can buy things like the NFL, the Boy Scouts and Star Wars, that inspire manliness and independence, but they can’t keep the audience with their left-wing nut preaching. They must be content to simply destroy those pillars of their hated political opposition.

“I don’t merely disagree with you; I find you contemptible, a detestable human being”

He should know that the tighter their grip on franchises, the more fans will slip through their fingers.
