Have seen this video many times and want to weigh in as an experienced seamstress and costumer. I am pretty sure that bulge is the result of the facings and the material of the zipper being too long and not properly tacked down. I am basing this on the weight and drape of the fabric and the movements she is doing. If the pants were tighter or made of different fabric, it wouldn’t be happening.
Not a defender of Mooch, just don’t think it helps our cause to make a big deal out of something that is easily explained.
The blue dress picture is a little harder to explain but making an educated guess, that kind of dress is usually made of some sort of stretchy knit fabric. Some of those don’t spring back into shape if over stretched until they are washed or dry cleaned. Think bumps caused by leaving a sweater on a hanger too long. Now what stretched it is anyone’s guess.
