What I always find amusing is when a flight is cancelled due to technical difficulties and the passengers complain. Then ask the passengers if they wanted to fly on a plane with technical difficulties and they all say no way.

It’s not a problem with the airplane. I work in the industry so I see this a lot.
Clt is usually a great airport. I fly out of it 20 times a year.

I got stranded in Charlotte last night and am waiting for my rebooked flight right now.
The issue is an odd one to say the least. The American Airlines partner PSA cancelled all of their flights yesterday afternoon due to some “technical issue”, meanwhile American planes and other partners are still flying.
What makes it weird is that PSA uses the same booking system as American, so heaven only knows what the real reason is. Major inconvenience for me and I hate that, especially when it’s on my homeward trip.
To add icing on the cake, there isn’t a single rental car to be had in all of Charlotte. Not one. My connection takes me to Knoxville which is only a 4 hour drive, but I couldn’t find a car with any agency. I even tried Uber, but they don’t tell the driver it’s 4 hours one way, they only say it’s over 45 minutes. Once the driver realizes where you are going they decline the trip.

Yeah, terminal E is usually a cluster of rude crowds, gate changes at the last minute and ubiquitous puddle-jumpers.
CLT, PHL and PHX all sport mostly old USAir metal too, not AA’s upgraded planes.
LaGuardia is the worst.
