maybe just maybe your regular Joe ticket buyers don’t care what reviewers think and see movies that interest them?

I normally don’t know the race of who’s reviewing a film or album. Unless they make a point to draw attention to their name or interject their own politics into something.
How many black critics are reviewing rock albums these days?
I’ve known some black writers who have covered rock music scenes very well but they are the exception to the rule, most shun it altogether.
