He took me to the gag-point with his bitchy anti-conservatism. He’s living the ‘Life of Riley’ and slamming the s&^t out of the capitalist system. I am so tired of that two-face, ‘I Hate America’ crap

A lot of suicides by celebrities in their early sixties in the last few years. I only heard of Anthony Bourdain when I saw his show set in Uzbekistan, a country I had been deployed to but knew little about because we were in lockdown most of the time. He finagled his way with gifts into an Uzbek wedding, described the cuisine, social customs, history; it was all very interesting.
What inner demons drive someone to such a fate?
