Ambien Manufacturer Fires Back at Roseanne: ‘Racism Is Not a Known Side Effect’
MSN ^ | Jennifer Maas

Posted on 05/30/2018 10:39:11 AM PDT by Fido969

The makers of Ambien don't want users to be worried about becoming racist, just because Roseanne Barr used their product as an excuse for her tweet about Valerie Jarrett on Tuesday.

"People of all races, religions and nationalities work at Sanofi every day to improve the lives of people around the world," the company said in a statement to TheWrap Wednesday. While all pharmaceutical treatments have side effects, racism is not a known side effect of any Sanofi medication."

This virtue-signaling makes me want to puke. Ambien DOES cause weird behavior, and they should shut-up rather than claim they're super sensitive about the matter.

Start telling your "weird Ambien" stories, and call these phonies out.

I think Roseanne should sue both Ambien AND Disney/ABC.

...at about the same time I was starting to move on.

My take: What she said was not racist, but it was a really dumb thing to say, and demonstrates why I don’t use Twitter. It’s just enough characters to get you in trouble.

OK, now I have moved on. This issue got its 15 minutes for me.

HA!

That is rich coming from those Pill-Pushers.

Companies like that don't know half of what their products really do.

You can judge a crony-capitalist by their willingness to get involved in politics.

😹😹😹💉💊. Are they sure? Did they read the entire pamphlet? Seems they may need to add that to the list of possible side effects. Roseanne should sue them. 🍿🍻👹

Do tell. What are the side effects?

Violence? Hallucinations? Suicidal actions? Blackouts?

I’ve known of a very mellow fellow taking Ambien who became quite crazy rather quickly. He quit taking it, and he returned to his nice, genial self.

Roseanne is a martyr.

They result of her martyrdom will be felt in Novmeber.

I sincerely hope the Democrat/Media criminal complex keeps doubling down on their fascism.

I once had to help restrain a female airline passenger that was on Ambien. She told everyone that would listen upon boarding that she hated flying and had taken her Ambien. About 30 minutes into the flight she went totally berserk and assaulted a flight attendant.
