Jeez, what a poor return of pleasure per unit of investment. Aside from the theft and breach of trust.
There is just so much embezzled money being wasted in the nation’s casinos. Seems like every month its a treasurer with the company payroll or a priest with the money out of the collection plate or the guy collecting money out of parking meters for the city.
Some people have no control whatsoever

This is the casino industry’s bread and butter- if they start repaying embezzled funds that are gambled away, they’ll be hurting
Where do you hear stories like this?
I wonder what the law is on this. If you purchased stolen merchandise from a thief, you could have the merchandise confiscated and returned to the rightful owner. How is this situation any different than buying a stolen dirtbike or shotgun?
What? Give it back to a 97 year old woman?

I pay attention to the news. Near here in Pittsburgh, a clerk took Matthew International for millions, a priest in Indiana Township took money from the collection plate as well as a church housekeeper in Greentree, all just to waste on gambling.
And how many gamblers don’t do such things?
Gambling is a tax on stupid people.

I don’t think so. It is a business. The perp should go to prison for a LONG time. Any assets she may have should go to the m-i-l.
