I wondered that myself when I came across the story late last night. At the website above, one of the facebook posts said:

” The dog attacked his head and neck, and was stabbed multiple times because he wouldn’t let go.
Stabbed to death by fork equals blunt force trauma. Ripped open by teeth equals blunt force trauma. It’s how they classify injuries, it doesn’t mean the boy hit his head.”

====== Comments by the mother are also at the above blogsite. From what she is posting, it looks like she is receiving media attack. They need prayer.
