This is going to be so fun! My family watches every year, and my oldest son and I have been in many audiences, which was also fun. I will be commenting on the thread as I read along it, three hours later at PST when it airs! Any other west coasters can watch with me and I will bring snacks. Unless there is one of those gross swallowing and puking up objects acts....

I can't stand AGT because they never just focus the camera on the act, they continually switch back and forth between all of the judges, then the audience, then the parents, so you only actually see a small portion of the act taking place on the stage! Take that great ventriloquist, for example, I never saw more than a 10 or 15 second snippet of her, as the camera switched continuously to everyone in the theater. It gets so frustrating. I remember last year I saw a tightrope act, I think it was, and the exiting, dramatic walk across the high wire was basically a series of quick shots with the rest of the performance being shot after shot after shot of Simon Cowell or the others looking on in amazement! I can never figure out why they do this. If I wanted to see one hundred shots of Simon Cowell sitting there and reacting I'd prefer they produce a show called "Simon Cowell and The Judge's reaction Shots" so I could watch a show where the camera just focuses on the great acts as they happen. That little girl was so brilliant. I knew she would win the show the first time she did her act (at the audition). Kids win this show a lot, and it’s not because they are cute. I bet Terry Fator was at first really overjoyed to see her, then I bet he wanted to find a way to get her on his show so she didn’t get a competing Vegas show to his! She’s that good!
