Saw the title. I didn’t even have to read the article to know the breed. My good friend has a pit bull when I go to his house I feel very uncomfortable with the dog. The dog is “friendly” but!!!

Attacks it’s own family? Either they were abusing it, or the dog was simply mean. Pits have an earned, bad reputation nowadays. Too bad. I know some are friendly, but I personally don’t trust them.

If the anti-pitbull cabal at FR cared as much about the child victims of distracted driving, we’d see all the news stories about the heinous drivers who victimize others at a rate an order of magnitude greater than the pitbull.

Even while people want to focus on the few hundred deaths caused by any Pit Bull mix or type of dog over 20 years, there are still more people killed by humans pretty much every day in this country. What are we going to do about that?

You’re right. With much practice I was able to learn to chew gum and walk at the same time, but until I’m smart enough to care about the clear and present danger posed by pit bulls AND distracted driving, I’ll shut up about the former.
