I got my first job at 18, my first house at 19. It's not hard. You just have to live in the real world, not the virtual world.

It's not he same. Globalism has depressed wages and housing is so expansive most young people are priced out.

Not the same as what? Yesteryear? I bought my first house in the Obama years. Anyone can find an affordable house, unless they’re looking in a place like San Francisco or Manhattan.

You’re right. Around here a kid would have to get several roommates in order to move out on their own. When I was in my late teens, early 20s, my friends and I all had our own little apartments, some kind of reliable little car, and entry level jobs. We didn’t live like queens, but we made it. We even had a bit of spending money and were able to go out and have fun now and then. Things are SO different now.
