I have no pity for the parents. Refuse to do anything for him and I’d have the electric company come and put in a separate meter for his living quarters. Parents enable these little punks and then complain. Grow a pair and kick him out.
Assuming he bothered to vote, a Bernie dude.
What if their son then dies of homelessness?
Can his sister sue the parents?
Parents are responsible for their children, not society. That includes until they are self sustaining.
When the parents are too old, they darn well will be begging their son to care for them.
Then the son should sue the parents, that they are not his responsibility.
I knew of a homeless Aunt. Her siblings, nieces & nephews abandoned her. This is after she helped care for them when young. She is independent now, but the extended family is a myth.
No Kitchen privileges? LOL
This butthead aint Aunt Vernal
This the kind of person who votes for socialism.
Dad sounds like a peckerherd, mom sounds like a peckerhead, the 30 year old in question sounds like a peckerhead.
Ever hear of a size 12 boot dad?
The guy is 30.
He aint a child.
Size 12 Redwing Boot!
He is in the sale of pharmaceuticals and his best customer is himself. He’ll end up on the streets in a state that legalized pot.
Sometimes it can be more convenient to stay with family when even entry level jobs need bachelors degrees. Many internships require prior experience or are overloaded, and working the arches hardly saves you from 15+ years of debt slavery if you finish, and even then, upward mobility is hampered when people refuse to retire.
If society placed greater prestige in the trades, I think it would be much easier to get a college education. That or join up.
And lets not forget the insane housing market which can put you in 10+ more years of debt when you get a mortgage, so you settle for a filing cabinet with no inheritance instead.
Gee, being able to buy a house outright after 2-4 years of an entry level job must have truly been the glory days :(
I wonder what happened to stop that
“Resist”
I read that this guy stated that he refuses to get a job because then he would then have to pay child support for the son he lost custody of! He needs the snot beat out of him.
I give the odds at 9-1 he’s a democrat voter.
The parents should have hired a locksmith to change the locks while Sonny Boy was at court.
OMG! My dad had that Hank Williams record. Also Hank Snow with “Movin’ On” on it. Memories. Thank you.
my parents had a deal with us kids tjat as adults lived at home. For rent they got 1/3 of what ever you are making and 1/3 was put into another account that you could not touch till you left home...also if you don’t have a job you must be doing something even if it is volunteer work and work around the house, if I you were not working you had too put in 20 hours of work a week as a volunteer some where or work around the house ...Because of health issues I had to move home a couple times as an young adult. staying with mom and dad is not that desirable when you don’t have access to 2/3 of your income and your parents loan you out as a volunteer when you are jobless. They figured that it was there rules or you are out. I had one sibling that got booted out on to the street because they did not want to live by theses rules shortly after graduating highschool.
