One is either born NBC, or not. There is no "becoming" one after the fact.
I agree, if he was not born on US soil, not a citizen at all, at least not by incident of birth.
I was all over the issue with Cruz, and know the law on this subject very well. I point to Rogers v. Bellei, and a few other (later) cases that prove birth on US soil is MANDATORY to be NBC. McCain is not eligible.
You could argue that a person born to American parents outside the U.S. is a citizen, but not a natural born citizen.
But in Obama’s case, I’m saying if he was born outside the U.S. he was not even a citizen.
BTW, I could never be President. My parents, both Americans, were missionaries and I was born a U.S. Citizen—but not eligible for President. (At least that’s the way I’ve always understood it.)
He who shall not be named is not eligible for a variety of reasons if you think about it. just sayin’
