With all the recent Q posts mentioning the PAIN coming, It brought to mind my favorite part of The Princess Bride when Wesley describes what "To the Pain" really means. Below is the original by William Goldman.
Following the original, I've attempted an appropriate re-write inspired by Q's posts and today's events.
From The Princess Bride (Wesley (hero) to the evil Prince Humperdinck)
“To the pain means this: if we duel and you win, death for me. If we duel and I win, life for you. But life on my terms. The first thing you lose will be your feet. Below the ankle. You will have stumps available to use within six months. Then your hands, at the wrists. They heal somewhat quicker. Five months is a fair average. Next your nose. No smell of dawn for you. Followed by your tongue. Deeply cut away. Not even a stump left. And then your left eye—"
And then my right eye, and then my ears, and shall we get on with it?" the Prince said.
Wrong!" Westley’s voice rang across the room. "Your ears you keep, so that every shriek of every child shall be yours to cherish—every babe that weeps in fear at your approach, every woman that cries 'Dear God, what is that thing?' will reverberate forever with your perfect ears.”

A Q-inspired revision (POTUS vs SWAMP):
“To the pain means this: if we duel and you win, nothing changes and the government remains corrupt. If we duel and I win, everything changes. But the changes will be on my terms. The first thing you lose will be your secrets. All of them. You will have few legal options available to use within “a very short period of time”. Then you and your co-conspirators will have handcuffs on your wrists. They will heal eventually. Five years is a minimum average. Next your Pinocchio noses will be on display (on the internet – it's out there forever). Nowhere to hide for you. Followed by your savings. Deeply reduced. Not even a nest egg left. And then your family's savings—"
And then my friends savings, and then the American People's savings, and shall we get on with it?" the Swamp said.
Wrong!" The voice of POTUS rang across the room. "The American People's savings will be spared, they've supported you enough. What you keep is the SHAME of exposure, so that every shriek of every liberal who believed in you and whose future you've destroyed shall be yours to cherish—every generation that weeps in fear of your return, every true Patriot who is AWAKENED that cries 'Dear God, please lock them up?' will reverberate forever in your perfectly corrupt ears.”
