I went into a coffee shop last week to have a cup of coffee and do some work. When I asked for the wifi password they told me it was “buysomething.” Eff Starbucks!
Can I bring my own coffee?
Starbucks Homeless.
Can’t happen to a nicer company.
Well, this is just not good enough. Starbucks is heartless. They are going to let people who cannot afford to purchase their over-priced swill sit there with nothing?! If they had an actual social conscience, they would be offering free coffee to these downtrodden members of society. What kind of social justice warriors are they!?
They’ll be sorry!
I'm going you one better, guys.
After 12 years, I will not be visiting in the future.
If I enjoyed living dangerously, I never would have started regular visits to Starbucks in the first place.
Good luck to your bathrooms cleaning crew...
Great idea, but I demand off-street parking for my car, truck, and two trailers.
Screw Starbucks!
This is a true story.
I had to go to San Francisco for a conference at Microsoft’s downtown offices.
I was staying at a hotel just off of Union Square.
The hotel bragged that they had a door inside that went into a Starbucks.
In the morning when I got up, I went thru the door to get some wakeup juice, and the line was stretching OUTSIDE their main door, filled with Millenials getting their morning must-have.
I said, screw this and got a large at the Jack in the Box next store. Fine coffee, and only a buck!
Right across from Microsoft’s main offices, the Kuerig company was having a huge promotion for their new product (this was in October of 2011). All the coffee you wanted with all the fixings. Went on all week.
Again, Ska-rew Starbucks!
I hope all those street-sh1tt1ng, pull-it-out-and-wiz-right-there-in-front-of-everybody, smelly homeless make Starbucks that their home!
Wow, free office and meeting space. Can I bring my own bottle?
Worked out well for the libraries in LA. Especially Santa Monica. sarc/off
“...leaving decisions on whether people could sit in its stores or use the restroom up to store managers”
That means that the woman manager was fired unfairly. The decision was up to her, but it wasn’t. She was fired without recourse, then trashed by savage internet denizens.
The boss man said it. I’m holding him to his word. He fired the woman unfairly. Woman, are you going to sue his a$$ off?
Run a business from there for free... until the homeless show up.
BWAHAHAHAHA, this policy might last a month, and then after the outroar from customers having to sit next to smelly, dirty bums, Starbucks will “reevaluate’ the policy, and then ALL HELL breaks loose from the SJW’s, BWAHAHAHA!
Even if I am wearing my MAGA hat?
I hope all their profits get eaten up by plumbing costs and toilet paper.
I hope their employees see what’s up and start looking for other jobs.
Sweet. Those places will become the new public libraries for homeless and hobos.
No one with expendable income will want to go.
Wow, private shoot up rooms.
