80% of the human population has brown eyes.

Blue eyes are recessive so for a child to have them, both parents must have blue eyes.

My mom had blue eyes my dad had green eyes so I came out brown!

Did you not read my post ? I just told you that both of my brown-eyed parents had the “Bb” gene and produced me, a blue-eyed child with a “bb” gene. Only one parent with a solid “BB” gene cannot produce a blue eyed child, even if one parent has blue eyes. They can if one or both carry the recessive “Bb” gene. In your case, you had a 50% chance of having either brown or blue eyes. You inherited a “Bb” gene as a result.

My mother had blue eyes and my father had brown eyes. Two of my brothers had blue eyes.
