Very tight race. Don’t take for granted Trump won the state. That doesn’t necessarily mean victory. Trump and Pence will have to campaign for Braun.

IIRC, Gravis has a good record of being fair and accurate.

someone please make absolutely certain that he knows the stock answer to the abortion question before any debate or interview with carnivorous local media. and if he has any creepy notions about rape, make sure he can keep them to himself for 6 months.

Creepy notions about rape? Is that what you think of those like me who are against abortion even in cases of rape and incest?

Just wondering, because I am the product of rape.

Thanks God abortion was not legal in 1956, or I would never would had a chance.

If a man cannot be honest about where he stands, then he has no business running for office.

I haven’t seen the polling numbers but I’d bet they are greatly underestimating Braun in the southern half of the state. There are many new (returning) jobs down here. Good ones. The people and the union members know why.

He’s probably referring to Todd Akin’s gaff that put Claire McCaskill in the senate for Missouri.

His gaffe tipped him a tad. His desperate apology sank him like a nuclear tipped torpedo.

Once upon a time Indiana was a deep red state.
The effects of immigration. Demographics is destiny.

Your analysis of Indiana is a little bit off here. Prior to 2004, Democrats held the governor’s mansion for 16 straight years. Birch Bayh was a Senator for years until Quayle beat him in the Reagan wave in 1980. Before he retired, Evan Bayh won two straight terms, but when he tried to get his seat back in 2016 he went down in flames. Donnelly can’t run as a real Democrat and expect to win. All things considered, I think the GOP may be stronger than it’s ever been in Indiana right now.
