“The left is starting to help Trump at this point.”

The left has always been the most persuasive argument for Trump.

I don’t recall Seinfeld ever doing political comedy.

Seinfeld is smart. He knows when to STFU. David Letterman is a bitter old tool.

I guess Kimmel also thinks that at some point Hitler would get tired of Murdering Jews because it would illicit sympathy for them.

Jerry Seinfeld is the only comedian that understand politics and comedy don’t mix well.

I think there are actually a few comedians that get that. I've enjoyed a few of the comedians on Netflix like Jim Gaffigan and Gabriel Iglesias. Both of them favor self-deprecating or family-situation humor.

Leno was huge on political comedy...at least with Klintoon. One of the last stand-ups before Billy was exiting was Leno laughing and lamenting how he was “going to miss this guy!”

Seinfeld has had political implications on his show, but not blatant and relentless.

Letterman is just an ugly overrated unfunny slime bag.

I don’t know if Seinfeld “gets it” or just knows his own shtick. Politics and comedy mix fine, many excellent comedians have stuck mostly to politics. But there’s a method, you can’t stick to one side, you always have to be willing to hit whoever is charge no matter you’re opinion of them. Seinfeld was never political though, he’s observational, he’s from the “dja ever notice” school, there’s no good leverage into politics in his style, and it’s not in his talent pool.

Have you noticed that - within the last week — a number of comedians and comedy shows have all said that they are going to scale back their anti-Trump comedy as it is no longer funny.

It's almost as if there is some message from Soros or the DNC telling them to scale it back until after the November mid-terms or something.

Naw. Just a coincidence.

I remember hearing years ago that Seinfeld would no longer do shows on college campuses because the students were so easily offended & basically had no sense of humor. Can you imagine a show with those snowflakes??

I find it revealing that Seinfeld refuses to play college campuses anymore. Joe Rogan made the same decision and was talking about it on his show. He said you can’t use any of your best material without offending someone so you have to water down your act and get a reputation for not being funny. Both agree that it just isn’t worth dealing with the PC nonsense to perform there. And neither of these performers are “conservative” by a long shot.

Maybe Seinfeld can speak for himself, but humor and laughter can easily help legitimize a viewpoint. Politics and comedy actually mix very well. Seinfeld has simply chosen to mix comedy with something else.

Why let the cat out of the bag? Let the Left sink itself with its own crazy behavior.
