By pulling the plug on FISC, no court would see a request for the warrants that FISC handles now. It would all be warrantless, on the government's honor. Government takes its chances in criminal court just like it did in the Keith case, pre-FISA. No that long ago. The system worked.

Do you honestly think FISA has slowed down or curtailed surveillance in any way? I don't. It's a paper-pushers dream job. Make work for do-gooders. Pull the damn plug.

And quit with the "we care" talk. We know you (the government) are lying.

And get this ... under FISA, the government can commit a supposedly criminal offense, but a warrant from the court provides a defense (insurance policy). That's great! Just like the civil penalty that gets shut down with "state secrets."

A guy could go all glassy-eyed just generating the list of Screw-Up-Everything-They-Touch laws and regulations generated over the past twenty years that seriously need dumped in a Black Hole.

In the short term, I guess I could live with repealing those three. (Along with tossing the authors under a real bad redneck jail.)

Government will always use surveillance to the extent money and technology permit - "legal" limitations mean nothing. The government lies about this, because if it told the truth, the people would rebel. So, Congress, the courts, and even the executive all make the right couping sounds (I did that on purpose) to lull the people into a sense that the government actually respects the constitution.

About as much as I respect the government.

Given that they've collected everything on everyone since at least 1970 ... it is all farce and Kabuki dance to pretend otherwise or even to set up the FISA court to authorize 'special snooping' when it has long been everyone 24/7/365.

Q was a no-show for the second day in a row, and as expected, the idle brains of FReeQ nation turned inward. Here are the stories of the day:

~~There was discussion of the DOJ's reluctance to turn over requested documents to MY Congressman Devin Nunes' committee. The DOJ cited a list of reasons, one of which was, to paraphrase, so as to not interfere with ongoing investigations. This was the clause that was focused on. What investigation? Who was being investigated? Good guys? Bad guys? Where the hell did I die? (Peter Frampton reference.)

And to pile on the cheerful news of the imminent death of one of the worst traitors in American history, word around the campfire is that Ruth Bader Ginsburg, one of the worst Supreme Court Justices in American history may not see too many more moons.

Will the faceless god be so generous as to take these two to his bosom to the benefit of us all? Can we be so lucky? Valar Morghulis (All men must die).

Hi Bob, just continuing from the old thread (Bagster added you because you like to be the star ;) ) - here's an example of why I like to take paid shills with a grain of salt, especially those that follow a recognizable commercial format. I'm not into censorship but I think there should be a certain amount of caution before buying (literally) into someone's monetized spiel.

Once you've seen the same people hijack each succeeding movement for their own commercial ends for years you begin to realize there's a pattern. Now it's Q drops, before that it was Obama, 9/11, UFOs, Government Conspiracies and so on. Often, the same people have been at it for decades. Before the internet, your local gun shows were the best place to find these types of folks peddling their wares.

I think Wilcock is a good example - he's been at the new age, reincarnation, UFO racket for 20 years. Now he's a Christian Q guru, integrating that into his shtick. From his bio:

He could care less about Q other than it's a hot new topic that he has been taking advantage of. Since he is just hijacking it for monetized purposes and has a history of fabricating things he really can't be trusted as to what he is saying.

The basic template these folks use is fairly simple, it works as an outline that is embellished with a premise that is a hot button for your intended audience, and content sequenced with sales pitches for products such as books and audio cassettes, videos, exclusive 'intelligence reports', access to special content, seminars, personal appearances and more so that the audience can help support the authors in style.

They start by concocting a worthy click-bait headline as the first hook. It typically includes something universally in the target audience's consciousness, such a the Q drops. The next step is to create a 3-act outline starting with an introduction to the premise, reinforcement of the premise, and concludes with a call to action with a promise of an upcoming surprise. Sales pitches are cleverly inserted into each act to market the product which is the only real reason for the content. Hook, line and sinker.

Let's put up a ridiculous premise that stretches credulity. We'll start by pretending the Inter-galactically famous Bagster is our author (Wilcock claims there are Americans throughout the galaxy so it's true!). Now let's puff up the qualifications. Dr. Bagster received his Doctorate at the prestigious Strabismus Institute of Applied Psychology and is founder of the renowned Society of Freepius Trollius Exterminus.

Now for the click-bait.

Sex-trafficking Mermaid Scandal Deepens as LAPD Threatens to Release Secret Footage.

An image under the title helps reinforce the click-bait.

Next, the intro. How about aliens, everybody loves aliens. Aliens that crash-landed on Earth millennia in the past and were unable to reproduce in Earth's heavier gravity so went into the oceans and mated with humans, creating mermaids. There was no conflict until the Illuminati discovered that if mermaids were tortured, their pineal glands would produce a substance called Acetyleternaline, which extends human life by 50% or more.

Now we state how courageous we are - our intrepid author has been toiling for years developing contacts in Deep State and risking his life to search for the truth. He is not alone. Bob was almost killed when his boat was sabotaged and sunk after getting exclusive footage of the mermaid pen and sunken alien ship.

The mother ship is still recognizable after 12,000 years.

Let's add a catch - Most of Bob's footage was confiscated by the LAPD and turned over to the Navy. He was able to conceal his phone and save the images here. We can't release all of the footage because it might cause world-wide riots. Insert some teaser photos:

Next, the premise is reinforced with wild claims and pseudo-evidence, with more episodes of personal risk, tragedy, and drama.

Prominent political personalities have ties to the Acetyleternaline conspiracy. Al Franken and Adam Schiff been taped raping and eating a pre-adolescent mermaid according to an insider at the FBI. Dr. Bagster's hamster was run over by a Tonka truck and left on his doorstep as a warning to not continue investigating.

The conclusion and call to action.

These people are sick and need to brought to justice and were the ones who deserve credit.
