I think marriage always involves struggle. In my personal opinion, those that don’t involve struggle likely involve a partner who is somewhat withdrawn and who won’t ‘fight’, no matter what. You’re absolutely right about sticking it through. If by the end or your life you can say that you have by your side someone you’ve shared a large amount of life with, who knows who you are, and truly loves you, you have been successful in life.
