Mairdie. The taxis in your photo are the same red as the ones in the Q photo. But the Q taxis are red AND white. The Hong Kong ones are all the way red.

The white Hong Kong sign is almost exactly the same, with the same number of symbols/characters (5) as the Q sign. But there isn't a yellow sign under yours like there is on the Q sign.

Still. What are the odds two similar signs would be in both HK and Cupertino. I guess it's possible. Also, I may not have a good enough view of the taxis. Curious they both have the same red, neh?

Anybody else with any ideas?
