But not out of any impulse other than to once again participate in the current iteration of the Great Game as a principle.

I believe it would be foolish to romanticize Henry the K. I do believe he may have a few scores that remain unsettled. Altho, at his age, it’s more likely most of his old adversaries are departed. My best guess is he loves the Game and is reveling in one more chance to play.
