How to make a graphic image of Q messages? I want to put one on the graphics thread but I can’t remember where they can be found in a graphics form.
Since all FreeQs by definition are in the 5% category of all people in all circumstances it seems to make all normative discussions MOOT since we would be the only ones who give a HOOT!
LOL, I have spent my life in the 5% zone and so, feel perfectly comfortable here at Freerepublic!

Most of the people at my church are uber-liberal. They are SHOCKED to find out I’m a conservative. (But you’re so nice! You do so much for the church/poor/minorities!) They think they have a market on charity, but what I have noticed is that they vote to make OTHER people pay and then pat themselves on the back for being charitable. They want to manage OTHER people doing the grunt work and then pat themselves on the back for “pitching in”.
Totally agree about Kennedy kid! I kind of felt sorry for him. He seemed to be in way over his head. Maybe he was a sacrificial lamb for the left. They had to know it was a losing proposition to rebut the SOTU!

It’s good to have backups. It’s better to have more backups. It’s best to have backups that are widely distributed.
So yes, we should save things on our own (as much as we are able and have time and disk space). Will it be needed? Probably not. But I have fire insurance and a fire extinguisher that I will probably not need. I’d rather have them and not use them than need them and not have them.
I can’t believe how much stuff I’ve tried to look at that is gone. Twitter seems to be the worst. If I see something at a Twitter link that I think is worthwhile, I save it. Here today. Gone tomorrow. Or more likely gone 10 minutes from now.
