Hillary Clinton is changing her Twitter bio. After Clinton’s Arthur Miller Freedom to Write lecture at the PEN America World Voices Sunday night, Clinton sat down for a conversation with author Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. Adichie asked Clinton about her Twitter bio, which reads, “Wife, mom, grandma, women+kids advocate, FLOTUS, Senator, SecState, hair icon, pantsuit aficionado, 2016 presidential candidate.” “The first word that describes you is wife. And then I think it’s mom, and then grandmother. When I saw that, I have to confess I felt just a little bit upset. Then I looked at your husband’s Twitter account, and the first word was not husband,” Adichie said. Was this Hillary’s choice, she asked. Clinton smiled: “When you put it like that, I’m going to change it.”

I know she's been claiming to be a "kids advocate" for the past 30 years...but what has she actually done for kids?

Hillary should have kept it as it was. Some people identify with one aspect of their lives before something else. That doesn’t mean someone is being ‘oppressed’.
Most men from their generation would think of their work persona first, personal persona later. The opposite for most women of their generation. It’s still that way for many.
Not that it matters to me, but knowing human nature, I think Hillary just wants to pander.
Not a lot of folks want to listen to her speak these days, so she may go out of her way trying to please someone who looks like a fan.
I would expect her to revert back to the old order of phrasing on any future books.
How about, “Sad aged woman still undefined and bitter”
