Me too. And also the possibility that he does not, that the end times are 1,000-2,000-10,000 years into the future. Who knows?

Thank you for that statement. I think all too often we forget that possibility. Plus there is also the possibility that the Lord might be postponing that day.
IMHO, we all need to be mindful of how the Lord allowed Abraham to convince Him to be willing to spare Sodom and Gomorrah if He could find, after much dickering with Abraham, the 10 righteous men.
In addition, He showed His disinclination in His desire to pour down wrath, if there was the hearing of His Word, as we see in the story of Jonah and the Whale. He did not care if His prophet was shamed; He cared about saving people from darkness. He wanted them to hear the Word.
I have maintained in other posts that the rising up of the people in the elections following that disastrous 2008 election could be argued to have fulfilled that “10 righteous” promise requirement.
FWIW
Again, thank you. No man knoweth the day.
[That the end times are 1,000-2,000-10,000 years into the future. Who knows?]
True story.
