As some of you know, I have sort of a reputation for finding great deals. Anyway, one open "secret" is that Walmart has become very competitive with Amazon. Now, I am not crazy about shopping at Walmart on weekends (and I don't need to tell you what a nightmare that can be) but I have gotten a lot of great deals where I merely walk into the front of the store on weekdays and pick up stuff I ordered online.
Well, right now they have a great deal where you don't even need to go to the store and you get FREE shipping direct to you PLUS $10 off on any order of $35 or over. Just enter SAVINGS10 in the Promo Code at checkout and they will deduct.
So what did I get? Well, I have been using coupons a lot for Tide and Tide Pods and have enough to last me until at least the end of the summer but I wanted enough to definitely last until the end of the year so I ordered TWO 81 count bins of Tide Pods at $19.97 each. After tax was added and the $10 was deducted at checkout the total came to $31.74 including FREE shipping for all 162 Tide Pods. Basically like getting a $5 coupon for each of those bins with FREE shipping so I don't have to actually go to Walmart.
This deal is good for today only I think so if you like it then go to Walmart.Com. If you have an account, great, but if not it is easy to sign up. No cost. This is a great alternative for when the Amazon deals for the same thing is pricier even if you have Amazon Prime which I do.
My son said the same thing. Bought some for him for college - thought it would be easier than using liquid.
Lol. Since I’m not a millenial, that’s actually a threat.
Are you feeding all the teenagers in your zip code?

I think some are doing the same but where you drive to a loading
area where the purchases are put into your vehicle.
I shop Wal-Mart because it is really the best for product availibility and price. I try to ignore the freaks there and as a rule I never go there after dark, when the real freaks come out to shop. I also never go there during things like Black Friday because I value my life more than getting a $99 flat screen tv. The one thing I can not understand is why they put their slowest 90 year old cashiers on the Speedy Checkout registers and then not even enforce the 20 items limit. I also learned to keep a close eye on the price items ring up vs what the price is supposed to be, especially clearanced or reduced items that more often than not ring up at the original higher price.
This!
I love the Scan and Go all for Sam’s and the one for Wal-Mart. Scan items, pay while walking out. No need to go to the cashier lines.
My local Walmart sells JUMBO eggs for just $1.18 per dozen which is weird because I stopped at another Walmart and they were selling for almost $2 per dozen.
Your taste buds WILL thank you.
I love going to the 24hr wm after 2am. No waiting, enough employees to point me where anything is. No crowd.
And awesome wildlife :)
Walmart in the middle of the day on weekdays isn’t bad. I usually look for the discounts in the meat department or memorize when meats and fish I want expire so I know when to return to get the discount coupons. If they don’t have them, I let them know and they put them on. I really like getting those discounts on smoked salmon.
Cmon - going to walmart is a blast. I love seeing folks shopping in their pajamas..
Bkmrk.
Seems to have good reviews.
I will shop Wal-Mart instead of Amazon just to keep Beezos from getting richer.
At least the Hahvard grads living in NW Arkansas get that snooty edge knocked off.
Can’t afford to not shop at Walmart for some items like milk which is $1 per gallon cheaper than anywhere else. Loss leader, obviously. But I only use the self-checkouts which pretty much allows me to bypass all the insanity.
Ship to store has also saved money on things like 3D printing filament where the shipping cost is high vs. the product cost.
Not sure if this works in Alaska yet. May have to try. Ive attempted to order things online and have them shipped to the store in Fairbanks and its always the same. They wont do it.
I’ve bought some very good (For flat pack) furniture from Jet.com. Good stuff for seldom used rooms. Have had no problems at all with orders or shipping time. Walmart, on the other hand has been a total pain in the ass on 7 of the last ten online transactions I have had with them.
Interestingly, Walmart owns Jet.com.
I love ordering from Walmart - I haven’t been to the store in years. BUT, I shop monthly at the Walmart Market - I just stocked up this morning. So much cheaper than the basic grocery stores, yet, I have not tried Aldi’s yet.
I love Aldi’s but do they have online ordering?
