You most certainly did. You called us a bunch of bad parents and bad detectives. You really think highly of yourself. Remember what the Bible says about pride. You "hypothesized" with the following:

Good parents don't keep little kids up that late. Your teenagers are supposed to be home in bed by 10pm.

From the reaction to my post, there are a bunch of bad parents on this thread and no one would make a good detective.
