I'm another that for many songs never really thought about the words/meaning. Except some of course like the Beatles "Why Don't We Do It In The Road?", I get those.

When brought to my attention now the lyrics of Hotel California, I'm appalled!

Loved the Eagles, Don Henley AND the song. I’ll continue to separate idiots from their great creations. Interesting that someone in the group refuses to allow their music on YouTube. Everything by the Eagles or Henley is blocked.
