Warm smell of marijuana makes sense in the context.

Given that the album came out in 1975, the smell of Mary Jane would be common. It sure was during that concert! I didn't inhale (much). No wonder my growth has been stunted.

I was a very naughty Bagster during that time, as well. I am very pleased to report that I smoked a great big Thai stick (or two) at the Santa Barbara County Bowl, outdoors on a sunny day, while I watched Bob Marley in 1979.
