Our cats cornered a mouse so we caught it and kept it. But the pet store said we couldn’t buy it a friend since different species would fight. So when the cats found ANOTHER one, we exclaimed in joy, “A Friend!” Which is how we learned the difference between deer mice and house mice. So then we had two separate cages for them to look at each other through. And one morning they had conspired and both escaped. I’m a one-man shop and in >20 years have built many applications that are now indispensable to the college. They are already mulling the idea of hiring me as an independent contractor after I retire to help with the transition.
